Knights of Emerald Kingdom first release
Yoooooooh!!
Hello and welcome to the first release of Knights of Emerald Kingdom! My little pet project that is not as little as it should be for a part time developer. I've been working on it in-and-out for quite some time and received help from family and friends, but this is the first time I've felt I had nailed it's fundamentals enough to show it to the world.
"What should you expect of this project as of now? " - Knights of the Emerald Kingdom aims to be a fast paced action roguelike game with procedural generated levels. As of now a single chapter is developed, providing a short experience, but with a couple enemy variety and a boss. However there are multiple characters to play as for replayability and a hadfull of equipments to unlock, all of them giving different powers, movesets and a glimpse of the lore behind the game.
"What can you expect of the future?" - My main focus as of now, is to develop more chapters and with it more of the roguelike mechanics. Couch coop multiplayer is also a big love of mine and while it is not currently in the game, I am taking care to implement things thinking on adding it later.
"When can you expect the next update?" - When my cat overlords stop destroying the house and allow me to work on the game, which may occur anytime between tomorrow or the next solar eclipse, who knows? But be sure that if tracktions comes I would be more compelled to accelerate the process, so fell free to coment away!
